Moving Documents and Folders
Move documents and folders from one location to another.
Admin users can move documents and folders to and from any location they want. Non-admin users don't have the same capability. They can only move documents and folders from one folder to another within their My Documents folder.
Neither user type can move contents of protected folders to other locations, and vice versa. For more information about protected folders, read our Protected Documents guide.
Here's how to move documents and folders for either role:
- Click the three vertical dots on the right side of the document or folder name.
- Select Move from the drop-down options.
- On the MOVE DOCUMENT or MOVE FOLDER pop-up, select the location where you want to move the document or folder. You can click the white or black arrows to expand or collapse folders, respectively.
- Click the MOVE DOCUMENT or MOVE FOLDER button.
