Renaming Documents and Folders

Rename files and folders as needed.

By default, only Admin users can rename a folder. Executive Director, CEO, and Board chair can rename a folder only if they're given edit permission. On the other hand, any user can edit documents as long as they're given edit permission.

To rename a document or folder:

  1. Click the pencil icon on the right side of the document name.
  2. If renaming a folder, the RENAME pop-up will appear right away. If renaming a document, select Rename from the drop-down options.
  3. Type the new name in the textbox on the RENAME pop-up.
  4. Click the RENAME button.
